| This proposed development is an assembly of 9 properties totaling approximately 10 acres. When approved, the development will consist of approximately 60 lots ranging in size from 4,000 to over 13,000 square feet. This will be a unique community with access to two large Metro Vancouver parks (Tynehead and Surrey Bend Park) as well as being very well served by transportation networks (Highway 1, 15, South Fraser Perimeter Highway, and the Golden Ears Connector and Bridge). There will also be views of the mountains to the north as well as the Fraser River. Canadian Horizons worked with the community and the City of Surrey to complete the Abbey Ridge Local Area Plan which outlines permitted densities as well as future trails, park land, and public facilities. The Plan was approved in Winter 2015 and Canadian Horizons made rezoning application in early 2016. Canadian Horizons anticipates Third Reading from Mayor and Council of the City of Surrey in early 2017 with construction commencing Spring 2017. Homes will be occupied late 2017 or early 2018. |
