Consumer Issues

Introduction, modification or repeal of legislation, a bill or regulation

In light of COVID-19 Whirlpool is contacting the government to reinforce a needs based approach in determining essential service and worker definitions at this critical time. If an end user were to experience an appliance failure at this critical time, we are requesting end-users retain options to have their appliances repaired or replaced. The loss of use of appliances may compromise the ability to store, preserve and prepare food and maintain effective hygiene and infection control.
