Arranging meeting between an individual and a public office holder for purpose of lobbying
The College of Dental Hygienists of BC submitted draft legislation to the Ministry of Health more than two years ago. The proposed legislative changes would safely increase access to oral care for some of British Columbia¿s most vulnerable populations. A series of delays have prevented this legislation from moving forward. I am going to support the British Columbia Dental Hygienists Association in their efforts to move this legislation forward for public consultation and approval as soon as possible. Dental hygienists can play an important role in providing cost-effective, accessible preventive services to British Columbians. I am going to support BCDHA in their efforts to lobby the Ministry of Health to include preventative dental services provided by dental hygienists to the list of services covered under the medical services plan of BC.
