The food service industry in British Columbia is experiencing unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and want to look for ways to directly support businesses and build an inclusive economy. With recent public health restrictions on gatherings there is a growing demand for restaurants to rely on food delivery services, and it has been reported that commissions charged by some delivery companies may be having a negative impact on small businesses.
