Discussion on improving the recognition of qualifications gained outside of Canada and addressing systemic barriers to credential recognition (at invitation of the Minister). Improving fairness and efficiency of regulatory processes for assessing international credentials; and improving newcomers’ access to and use of the pre- and post-arrival information about regulated occupations necessary to make informed immigration, licensure and employment choices.
