Submission to implement electronic logging devices (ELDs) coincident with Transport Canada, mandate provincial speed limiters on all heavy-duty trucks with a maximum speed set to 105 km/h in support of both safety and climate change, extend the CleanBC Heavy-duty Vehicle Efficiency Program partnership between the Province and BCTA for at least an additional three years in support of reducing our sector’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and invest in infrastructure improvements that promotes the efficient movement of goods and opening up Western Canada’s trade competitiveness by building trade-supporting routes.
