Corix designs, builds, owns and operates water, wastewater and energy infrastructure and intends to lobby government on all aspects. This includes meeting with public officials who may directly or indirectly issue RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc., to elaborate and inform those individuals on the capabilities and experience within Corix. Their learning more about Corix and its abilities may affect the nature of the documents they issue. Corix may also enter into discussions with cabinet ministers should any of their departments directly or indirectly influence the sale of public utility infrastructure that Corix has an interest in purchasing. Corix is a major operator of utility infrastructure and therefore is significantly impacted by modifications to legislation, bills and regulation. Corix will be seeking opportunities to provide input to any changes to any exisiting legistlation or regulation and any proposed. Corix provides products and services to various levels of government throughout BC (eg municipal, First Nations, resort communities) and many projects that require these products and services are done so under government contracts that sometimes receive grant funding. Corix investments in utility infrastructure are intended to span decades of operation and therefore any program, policy or decision can have a significant long term effect therefore Corix strives to be aware of any amendments or terminations to programs, policies and decisions.
