Three meetings over two days (November 29th & 30th, 2018) - presented a proposed Indigenous Protected Area in Northern BC (Tsay Kay Dene). Peter Wood accompanied the Chief Negotiator for the Tsay Keh Dene First Nation for an inaugural round of discussions with the BC government regarding the establishment of a new indigenous protected area in the Ingenika watershed in their traditional territory. Advice was sought as to how to do this in a collaborative manner, and to secure interim measures (such as a moratorium on logging in the watershed).
