| The mission of the Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) is to create a world that is accessible for all. The Foundation raises funds and awareness to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Since it's inception in 1988, the Foundation has raised more than $300 million towards removing barriers and finding cures for paralysis after spinal cord injury. The Rick Hansen Foundation is actively improving the lives of people with disabilities, changing perceptions and removing visible and invisible barriers. Our goal is to create an inclusive world where people with disabilities can reach their full potential. Specific programs and organizations funded by the Rick Hansen Foundation include the Blusson Spinal Cord Centre, the Rick Hansen Institute, planat, the Rick Hansen School Program, and the Quality of Life program. |
