RHI is a Canadian-based not-for-profit organization committed to reducing the incidence and severity of paralysis after spinal cord injury and accelerating the translation of discoveries and best practices into improved treatments and quality of life for people with SCI. RHI works in four core program areas: (1) Cure - focuses on the generation of knowledge and the establishment of treatments that will ultimately result in a cure for paralysis after SCI. (2)Care - focuses on achieving evidence-based equitable and optimal care for Canadians sustaining a spinal cord injury. (3)Consumer Engagement - focuses on involving more individuals with SCI in research.
