Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) consider the entire productive landholdings of the enterprise used in the 100% BC certified manufacturing process (e.g. vineyards), either owned or long-term leased, in calculating any maximum for development area. The recommendation was in response to new criteria in the ALC Policy L-03 that limits the allowable ¿development area¿ on the particular parcel of ALR land upon which the winery is located to 5%.
