BOMA is a leader in developing certification and recognition programs to transform the industry towards a greater focus on energy efficiency and continuous improvement of buildings. BOMA BC has developed an emergency mass notification system which will increase our communications capabilities with our members in the event of an emergency situation or natural disaster. Quick response times have the power to reduce or eliminate injuries and limit property damage. After receiving our emergency notifications, members can share information with employees, tenants or property visitors, together contributing to the development of a safer and more aware community. BOMA wishes to work with the Province and other partners to help create a robust and effective emergency mass notification system in British Columbia.
