Description of Activities:
The Outdoor Recreation Council of BC (ORCBC) is a registered charity that represents and supports outdoor recreation organizations across British Columbia. Our members include provincial, regional and local recreation associations, clubs, stewardship organizations and local governments. ORCBC advocates for policies, planning and public investments that protect and improve access to public lands and waters, strengthen outdoor recreation infrastructure and ensure recreation is considered in land-use and resource management decisions. We work with governments, First Nations, members and other partners to advance responsible and inclusive outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship and the contributions of outdoor recreation to healthy communities and local economies. ORCBC also strengthens the capacity of recreation organizations through research, education, collaboration, practical resources and funding programs, including the Outdoor Recreation Fund of BC.

- The Outdoor Recreation Council of BC (ORCBC), a charitable society, supports and enhances British Columbia's organized recreation sector by advocating for its interests and strengthening its capacity.
