BCTA Budget Submission to request support in: 1. Developing a reliable and widespread low-emission and ZEV charging or refueling network and increasing the specialty use vehicle incentives (SUVI) for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles from $100,000 per vehicle to $150,000 per vehicle to offset the high purchase price and support early adopters 2. Improving provincial infrastructure to support the commercial road industry, with emphasis on reducing our sectors GHG emissions and safety and accessibility for women and all drivers in our industry. 3. Promoting accelerated turnover of heavy commercial vehicles, including both trucks and motor coaches with a gross vehicle weight of 11,795kg or more, to MY 2017 and newer by providing a PST input tax credit/exemption
