The BC Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA) has applied for the profession of landscape architecture to be designated under the Professional Governance Act (PGA). The Attorney General (AG) has reviewed the Office of the Superintendent of Professional Governance (OSPG) Assessment. It was agreed by the OSPG and the AG that landscape architecture be designated under the PGA as it is in the interest of the protection of the public. The OSPG and the BCSLA will collaborate on the process to transition to the PGA before seeking formal designation.
