Email to PS Ravi Kahlon and ADM Jeff Vasey introducing Mike Yorke, President of the Carpenters District Council of Ontario. Mike leads the mass timber construction initiative for the UBC in that province where they have developed a comprehensive mass timber training program. The BCRCC is expanding its capability to support mass timber construction in British Columbia by developing a skilled workforce through the delivery of this sector specific training program. Mike Yorke has extended an invitation to PS Kahlon and ADM Jeff Vasey to attend the College of Carpenters in Vaughan, Ontario to discuss the rapid growth of the mass timber construction sector and how the development and delivery of their mass timber training program has supported this sectors growth and provided sustainable employment.
