Advocate for a Safe Traveller Program where vaccinated international tourists would be allowed into Canada/BC. Support for enhanced rapid testing at point of entry into Canada to further ensure that COVID-free tourist would be allowed into Canada/BC.

Lobby for changes to the Small and Medium-sized Business Recovery Grant eligibility. Currently, the eligibility criteria will not include many of the Tourism businesses the grant is intended to help, including all outfitters. This changes need to includes eliminating the PST requirement, reducing the number of employees to two, improving the methodology to demonstrate loss and reducing the burden on the application.
