Bird Canada wants to work with the the Ministry of Transportation on their recently announced pilot project amongst municipalities for the use of e-scooters, as they are not currently authorized to be used on streets and sidewalks in BC. Bird Canada operates in other Canadian cities and is advocating in favour of their operating policies being allowed in BC on Municipalities roads within the Ministry of Transportation - This includes but is not limited to safety, hours of usage, speed and parking.
