We intend to meet and/or correspond with Victoria MLA Carole James asking that public sector office workers be asked to return to work in their downtown offices as part of the province's Restart Plan. The discussion is regarding the need to support downtown Victoria businesses that typically rely on tourists. However, travel restrictions put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19 have caused a profound loss in revenue that many businesses can't sustain through the summer.
