The BC LDB’s Winery Sales Agreement needs to be based on certification of origin and should eliminate the discriminatory Commercial and Land-based designations. This discrimination disenfranchises 50% of the farmers, winemakers, largest landowners and wineries in BC from competing in the popular and disruptive alternative packaged wine channel. The Agreement needs to be changed to suit the market.
