To discuss the crisis in family medicine, the challenges faced by family doctors, and the ways family doctors and government can work together in the interest of patients. Almost 1 million British Columbians don’t have and can’t get a family doctor, while evidence shows that an ongoing relationship, rather than episodic care, results in better patient health outcomes. To discuss improvements that need to be made to better support family doctors, so that family doctors can continue to provide care British Columbians need and deserve
