Communicating, in general, about opportunities and challenges facing the oil and gas sector in British Columbia, including as it relates to investor confidence, competitiveness and export market development. The goal of these communications is to increase investment in British Columbia.

Communicating about taxes and royalties, including (i) the new royalty framework taking effect September 1, 2024, (ii) the Deep-Well Royalty Credit Program and transition mechanism and timing to the healing the land and emissions reduction credit pool initiative, and (iii) the CleanBC Industrial Incentive Program (CIIP). The goal of these communications is to promote a competitive tax/royalty framework.
