Seeking provincial government support for the 580 Commonage housing project in Vernon, a 1,040-acre development that will deliver up to 4,000 cost-efficient homes, preserve 650 acres of parkland, and enable millions in infrastructure upgrades benefiting the project and the city of Vernon. The project directly supports the Province’s housing supply and affordability goals by accelerating delivery of new units, introducing replicable innovations in cost reduction, and ensuring long-term environmental stewardship. Engagement will also focus on aligning the project with provincial priorities for rural development, infrastructure investment, and sustainable land use.
