More specifically policy and or actions to;
1) Implement a fiscal policy for provincial tobacco tax based on a similar model to that in place federally along with an anti-illicit tobacco enforcement plan to reduce levels of contraband tobacco in B.C. 2) Seek the Province to reassess regulations given expected Federal action in the same areas being considered provincially (vaping, tobacco, natural health products and environmental issues), thereby avoiding duplication of effort and potentially conflicting regulatory regimes. 3) Seek the Province to reassess the manner in which to implement a proper regulatory framework to regulate the sale of nicotine replacement therapies.
