Spoke with min of forests suggesting changes to forest practices, policies and legislation. Client offered assistance as a front line working in the forest sector on developing, amending or removing policy and legislation to improve the forest sector.

Spoke with Min regarding the challenges of being a woodlot holder. Raised issues around lack of permitting happening. Raised a critical issue around forest health and fire mitigation in forests in NE BC. Offered assistance to work with ministry to improve forest management practices and help with developing policy/legislation. Implored the min to help achieve the required harvesting permits to achieve the above points.
