Additional funding beyond existing grants for the new requirement to have automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and naloxone kits on site at all K-12 public schools. Further, the implementation of the expanded learning standard requiring cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED learning in the Physical and Health Education (PHE) 10 curriculum, including teacher release time, training, instructional resources, and equipment purchase and maintenance.
