Dispension is the primary technology provider for the MySafe Society. The MySafe Society is responsible for administering the MySafe Project, a safe supply program, using Dispension’s technology. Matters to be discussed with Hon. Judy Darcy, Minister, Mental Health and Addictions, include: Inform the Minister and staff of the progress and success of the MySafe pilot project and expansion plans to be funded by Health Canada’s SUAP program. The program is relevant to public health, aboriginal affairs, and safe guarding frontline workers from covid-19. The aim is to solicit the support of the government of BC in the expansion and implementation of future MySafe sites for harm reduction measures related to the opioid crisis. Including this program in the Provincial budget will allow health agencies to operationalize a relatively low-cost safe supply strategy which can be rapidly scaled.
