Enhance local control over forest management decision making by increasing community forests in areas directly adjacent to communities. Continue to support legislation, regulation and policies that facilitate the success of community forests. Increase the financial support for community forests to invest in wildfire hazard reduction, climate change adaptation and fiber utilization while ensuring the funding programs are nominal in bureaucracy.
