Specific Topics of Lobbying Communications Intended Outcomes Associated Subject Matters
COVID-19/Pandemic response - Discuss the affects of the government's response in regards to convenience stores and ensure that convenience stores are considered in government recovery plans moving forward. Labour - Introduce/discuss the importance of frontline workers in convenience stores and ensure they are treated in the same category as other frontline workers. Small business - Introduce/discuss issues related to small business such as social distance and other safety matters and other affects of a lockdown - such as business hours and business requirements when staying open. All discussions with government officials with be centred about COVID-19 with the intended outcome of the convenience stores being part of the government's recovery plans.
