The Canadian Sport Institute Pacific
(tenant), Ecoasis (landowner) and the
City of Langford (the municipality
where the centre would be located)
have joined together to boldly and
creatively develop a culturally
sensitive, viable, inclusive and
community-based proposal. Three
levels of government (municipal,
provincial and federal), private
industry (Ecoasis) and not-for-profit
(CSI Pacific) would join together for a
one-of-a-kind project to build a
pre-eminent facility that puts our
community, region, province and
country on the world stage.

We are looking to secure $20 Million+ in capital funding for a new facility/home for Canadian Sport Institute Pacific
This new facility will also act as a home for First Nations, Youth, Parasport and
Community Sport throughout the region. There is the opportunity to develop an Aboriginal Centre of Sport Excellence, along with the continuation of the Canadian Sport School for youth in Greater Victoria. The new facility will also house a brand new Parasport Innovation Centre. Community programming will be available to people in the Active
for Life participant stream. With these initiatives, the facility will be used to strengthen national, provincial and municipal profile, prestige and pride.
