Response to Minister Ralston in reply to letter sent to Geoscience BC on April 21, 2021 regarding the Geoscience BC funding request and that the BC Government is unable to provide financial support for Geoscience BC projects in 2021/22 fiscal year. The letter discussed being committed to working collaboratively with the Province to ensure the success of joint public geoscience and mentioned that our request included working together to establish a sustainable long-term funding mechanism for Geoscience BC, with an annual provincial investment for fiscal years 2022/23 and 2023/24.
