As representative of employees at BC Transit and TransLink, MoveUP wishes to work with government to secure the long-term stability and sustainability of public transportation in British Columbia.

Government is moving forward to meet CleanBC targets, as well as a net zero emissions goal. As representatives of employees at BC Hydro and FortisBC, MoveUP is interested in working with government to develop energy policies that reduce emissions and save and create jobs.

MoveUP represents 12,000 public and private sector workers and wishes to work with government to ensure that the rights of their members and others to join unions and bargain collectively are protected. Additionally, MoveUP wishes to ensure that workers who experience on-the-job injuries are provided with adequate supports and protected from job loss.
