Parliamentary Secretary for Gender Equity consultation on potential legislative measures aimed at increasing protections against sexual and gender-based violence involving non-consensual disclosure of intimate images on May 5, 2021. The consultation is in concert with the BC Attorney General Office that is contemplating the introduction of provincial legislative measures to support victims with the speedy removal and destruction of images, and compensation from the wrongdoer for the circulation of images without consent.
