Advocacy regarding changes to the 2022 lease renewal and management of the Whistler Municipal Heliport, (the “Heliport”). We believe that independent, professional, property management capable of making and implementing decisions free from inherent conflicts of interest, must become the foundation for the lease renewal and future management of the Heliport. Over time, the number of operators dwindled and a single operator became the dominant operator at the Heliport, controlling most of the lands, most of the subleases, most of the market share, most of the information about the Heliport and thus also assuming a dominant role in the funding and decision making of the Society.
