Specific Topics of Lobbying Communications Intended Outcomes Associated Subject Matters
Approaches to public office holders to raise awareness of the Canadian Aviation Sustainable Fuels Council and to raise their awareness of certain important issues, including the production of sustainable aviation fuels in BC and Canada. The objective of the steps is to put in place policies that promote the possibilities of deploying sustainable aviation fuels in BC (for example, by funding feasibility studies for the production of sustainable fuel) and to ensure complementarity with the international standards that are destined to exist. The council wants the national standards to be complementary to the international criteria in terms of low carbon intensity for aviation fuels.
