Advocacy efforts will engage government decision-makers, the BC Ministry of Health and related agencies to advocate for the expansion of e-referral codes beyond dermatology to additional medical disciplines. The objective is to enable broader use of Alethea’s AI-based diagnostic and rapid specialist access referral technology to improve patient access, particularly for rural and remote communities. Discussions will focus on policy development and operational support for e-referral codes, integration of AI solutions into health care pathways, and improving equitable access to specialist care to reduce health system wait times and improve the patient experience.
