We are seeking clarification with respect to how the implementation of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA), and the associated incorporation of UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) into BC law, will impact Mowi’s business operations. We are seeking to influence the process of amending legislation in response to DRIPA, in that Mowi would like to be included in that process in order to ensure that we understand how these amendments will impact our business practices early and also to understand the concerns of Indigenous groups who are also involved in that process.
