Advocacy meetings will be conducted with the local MLA, as well as the party critics for Forests and Jobs, to discuss concerns and opportunities related to the forest sector. These meetings will focus on influencing provincial policies and legislative decisions related to sustainable forest management, employment initiatives, and relevant acts such as the Forest and Range Practices Act and the Employment Standards Act. The goal is to directly engage with policymakers who are instrumental in shaping legislation affecting the forest industry and job creation.
