Government of Canada's proposed Coal Mining Effluent Regulations - The Association seeks the support of the Government of BC, through the Ministries of Mining and Critical Minerals, Energy and Climate Solutions, Environment and Parks, Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, Jobs and Economic Growth, and Water, Land and Resource Stewardship, in advocating to the Government of Canada the importance of coal mining to Canada's economy and the ability, effectiveness and practicality of existing provincial regulatory systems.
