Communicating with the Government of British Columbia regarding policies and healthcare service-delivery models that expand access to publicly funded specialist and multidisciplinary care in community settings, including urgent access clinics and other models intended to reduce pressure on hospital emergency departments and acute-care services. RebalanceMD seeks to support the development of policies and programmes that enable greater use of community-based, physician-led care to improve patient access, healthcare system capacity and patient flow.
