Advocating for greater provincial investment into a continuum of culturally-appropriate seniors care as well as continuous improvements to existing programs – including program model, service scope, eligibility, and funding models – to ensure that the province’s aging diverse population can age in place with the right care at the right time. Seniors care includes home support services, adult day centres, assisted living residences, as well as long-term care that are welcoming, inclusive, and offer culturally-appropriate services for diverse seniors including immigrants.
