Servier Canada Inc. is the Canadian affiliate of The Servier Research Group, an international pharmaceutical company governed by a non-profit foundation, with its global headquarters in France (Suresnes), specializing in ethical pharmaceuticals. With a strong international presence in 149 countries employing more than 21,700 people worldwide, Servier Research Group is entirely independent and reinvests 25% of its turnover from innovative therapies back in to research and development. The mission of Servier Canada is to provide the Canadian medical community and their patients with innovative therapeutic solutions in different therapeutic areas of high unmet needs, like cardiology, diabetes and oncology. Servier Canada collaborates with various stakeholders including researchers, biotech entrepreneurs and innovators. In addition to these partnerships, the Center of Excellence in Clinical Research of Servier Canada is dedicated to clinical development. Servier will not only have innovative new products in its existing therapeutic fields, but will enter at least 3 new therapeutic fields in the coming years. Recently, Servier Canada has received approval for 3 new agents. In the future, Servier Canada will add to the portfolio by making new products available for: the prevention of cardiovascular events, type 2 diabetes, depression, mild cognitive impairment and oncology.
