The Canadian Olympic Committee is engaging with the Government of British Columbia to explore hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in the future. At this time, we are asking the Province to commit staff resources to building a Games Concept with us. Description of Activities

Independent and predominantly privately funded, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) delivers the resources that Canada’s high-performance athletes need to perform at their best. The COC is responsible for all aspects of Canada’s involvement in the Olympic Movement, including: 1. Canada’s participation in the Olympic, Pan American and Youth Olympic Games; 2. Managing a wide variety of cultural and educational programs promoting Olympic values across Canada; 3. Selecting and supporting Canadian cities in bids to host Olympic and Pan American Games
