Description of Activities
Seniors Services Society of BC is a non-profit charity located in New Westminster, BC. We provide non-medical practical supports for seniors 60 and over in New Westminster to live independently. Services in this category include medical transportation service, grocery shopping assistance, light housekeeping service and friendly support calls. In addition, we provide housing and system navigation services, and outreach services for seniors in the Lower Mainland, who are faced with homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. We share the knowledge and expertise learned from years' of experience through our regular Housing Navigator Training sessions with the professionals in the sector as well as people who are supporting seniors in their lives.
