Description of Activities

Serve Robotics was founded in 2017 as the robotics division of the on-demand delivery platform Postmates. Six years later, the company’s self-driving robots have successfully completed tens of thousands of contactless deliveries in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Spun off as an independent company in February 2021, Serve has built a robotic delivery experience that delights customers, improves reliability for merchants, and reduces vehicle emissions. Since 2019, Serve has logged over 100,000 deliveries with hundreds of merchants on the platform. We have worked with disability rights advocates, senior citizens groups, transportation planners, and other stakeholders to design for safety and support smart regulations that set a high standard for deployment of new mobility solutions. We have currently deployed over 2000 robots and are looking to expand in markets across the United States and beyond.
